About St. Michael Parish

St. Michael Church is nestled in the foothills of the Naugatuck Valley in Derby, Connecticut. The gothicSt. Michael's Chiurch - line art architecture of the church brings visions of the great churches of Europe and primarily those in eastern Europe to mind.  The beautiful vaulted arches, hand painted murals, and stained glass lend a reverence that the more modern churches lack.

Derby is known as Connecticut's smallest city and sense of community is prevalent among its diverse population.  Faith and celebration is paramount for members of St. Michael Parish with daily morning masses, one mass on the Vigil, and four masses on Sunday.  The schedule can be found on the home page.

The St. Michael campus is also home to St. Michael/St. Mary school with grades K-12 in attendance.  News about the CCD Classes can be found on this website using the navigation.

We welcome you to St. Michael Parish and ask that each family in the parish be properly registered and every adult receive a set of envelopes.  Registration of new parishioners should be done at the Parish Office as soon as possible.  This registration is our only means of certifying anyone as a member of our parish family.

Contact information is located in the Contact Us portion of the site.
